![]() Memories of Stanton FriedmanAs I reflect upon Stanton’s life and the fourteen years that we worked together on archival research and writing, I think that we accomplished a great deal. He thought so too. It began in 2005, at the MUFON International Symposium, when I invited him to read the first draft of my manuscript on “Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience” and to contribute to it if it was up to his high standards. He drove from his home in New Brunswick to New Hampshire, three months later, to view Betty’s archival collection that I was preparing for U.N.H., to make copies, and to read my work. He agreed to contribute to the book, he said, because my approach was unbiased and scientific. His chapters on his area of expertise, the Betty Hill Star Map, Marjorie Fish’s investigation of it, and his role in finding the scientists who vetted Marjorie’s work were a great contribution![]() Kathleen Marden May 15, 2019 Stanton Friedman gets Lifetime Achievement awardStanton Friedman gets Lifetime Achievement awardStanton Friedman gets Lifetime Achievement award
